ISE AlphaClone Campaign

ISE (International Securities Exchange) was launching a new product called AlphaClone which “clones” the investment strategies of successful traders. The algorithms are very complex, but the basic concept – copying smart investors – was the idea behind a whimsical ad campaign featuring sheep. In a world of sameness, the special AlphaClone sheep (wearing wings made from the logo swoosh) is ready to fly ahead of the crowd. The tagline reads, “Not all Clones are Created Equal”.

We showed ISE more conservative ad ideas, but they were delighted by the sheep. They ran the ads in financial magazines and on investor websites, and successfully raised brand awareness for their new product. I like to think they made a few people smile too.
